And Jailbreak for iOS 7.1/7.1.1 is here

Celebration time everyone who is an iPhone jailbreak fan, we finally have a simple method to jailbreak your iPhone. In case you dont know what Jailbreaking means, let me help you... It basically allows you do stuff with your phone Apple previously locked out. Like sharing files via bluetooth installing paid for apps for free (via cydia - though i wouldn't advice you do this, please buy your apps from the App Store, support our developers). That said....

Here you go.

How To Jailbreak iOS 7.1 / 7.1.1 Untethered Using Pangu:

Before you begin, make sure your device is either running iOS 7.1.1 or iOS 7.1. Also make sure the latest version of iTunes is installed on your computer. Always backup your data to iCloud or locally via iTunes before jailbreaking.

Step 1: Download.

Step 2: Launch the tool with your iOS device connected to your PC, and uncheck the box as highlighted in the screenshot below, otherwise it will install a Chinese piracy app store.

Now click on the black “????” button to begin the jailbreak process. A popup will appear on the jailbreak software. This is a prompt for you to change the date and time on your iOS device.

Step 3: On your iOS device, navigate to Settings > General > Data and Time, and turn off Set Automatically. Set the date on the device to ‘02 June 2014’. Set the time to 20:30 (that’s 08:30pm for those who aren’t using the 24-hour clock on their iOS device).

Step 4: Go to your home screen on your iOS device, You’ll now see a new icon on your home screen called ‘Pangu’. Tap on it, and then wait a little, after a few moments you’ll be jailbroken with Cydia installed. It’s that simple. Note (your device may boot twice, thats normal after that Enjoy.....)

Here are screenshots from my now 'aweeeesome' phone with cydia installed and i'm running iOS 7.1.1 :)

Nokia Announces the Nokia X2 Phone

Microsoft owned Nokia smartphone division late last night announced the Nokia X2, a follow up to the popular Nokia X phone release a few months back.

Featuring a “stylish exterior,” the phone is meant to appeal to people who like a little color on their phones. A translucent outer layer makes the phone glossy though, which Nokia thinks is a good thing — we’ll have to put it to the test to determine our verdict on that one.

The Nokia X2 has the design and durability that Nokia phones are famous for, and it can run your favorite Android apps. This video shows you all the new features coming with this new generation of Nokia X devices

iPhone 6 Mass production is about to begin

Apple's iPhone 6 release date is getting closer as each day passes, and there are preparations on both the software and the hardware side of things. Apple has recently released a second beta of iOS 8, and a recently leaked glimpse of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 was seen in the wild. Mass production of the largest iPhones ever will start in July, according to a recent report quoting “people familiar with the plans” - Bloomberg.
While there is no exact iPhone 6 release date yet, the sources claim that the smaller of the two, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 might ship to retailers around September. As far as the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 release date is concerned, said sources claim that the Apple phablet might reach retailers at the same time as its “smaller” sibling.
Nothing is certain until the Cupertino company officially unveils the dates of its launch event, but following the recent number of leaks, we can say we are well on our way to seeing a new device pretty soon.

iPhone 5c - Unapologetically Beautiful.... and Plastic

I recently purchased the iPhone 5c and my-oh-my it's a gorgeous device and runs absolutely smoothly. Many would say it's cheap but it's not considering what you have to pay to get the device.

I've put up a short review of the iPhone 5c below for those you who have been considering getting one. The choice is yours after reading the review but i haven't been dissapointed using the device.

THE iPhone 5C REVIEW

Apple's colorful new lower-cost handset slots below the iPhone 5s flagship and ships with iOS 7. This is the first time the company's launched two new iPhones simultaneously. The 5c replaces the iPhone 5 in the middle of the lineup.
The 5c is built from steel-reinforced, colored-through, machined polycarbonate that's coated in a glossy finish. Apple's last plastic handset was the iPhone 3GS in 2009, but it only came in black and white. In contrast, the 5c arrives in a rainbow of pastel hues: white, pink, yellow, blue and green, along with a matching set of cases.
Spec-wise, the 5c is basically an iPhone 5 with an improved front-facing camera and global LTE support. The 16GB model costs about N70,000 unlocked and the 32GB version ranges between N75k and N85k on some of our popular shopping sites (Konga/Jumia) and as such it's more affordable than the departed iPhone 5. It's obviously not the cheap iPhone some folks were expecting, and frankly, i'm not surprised -- it's an Apple device, after all. So does the 5c live up to the hype? Is it an improvement over the iPhone 5? Should you pony up for the iPhone 5s instead? Let's find out.
